Baird Collar & Fingerless Mittens
Originally published in The Knitter this collar is knitted on two needles with the yarn doubled. The fingerless mittens which are new and a great stashbusting project are knitted in the round using a single end of yarn.
Short row shaping is used to create the ‘rise’ in the ribbing which allows the collar to fit snugly into the back of the neck – it should feel like a big woolly hug when it’s worn.
The mittens pattern is only available with the pdf pattern from my Pattern Store
Collar requires 1 x 45mm wooden button.
Cable patterns for both are charted.
