• Size “I” (5.50 MM) hook

• Recommended: this really makes it easier to get the spinner beanie sewn on just right o Styrofoam head o Stick pins

Notes:

1. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind, there are no complicated stitches
2. This pattern is written in US terms for the right handed crocheter
3. Pattern updated July 2025 to add full color photo tutorial as well as exact yardage for each color and size needed
4. This pattern contains 4 sizes: a. S- child (3-5) – fits head circumference up to 18” b. M- child (6-12) – fits head circumference 20” c. L- (teen) – fits head circumference up to 22” d. XL- Adult- fits head circumference 23”-24”
5. This pattern was tested with Red Heart Super Saver yarns only
6. Gauge using HDC and size “I” (5.50 MM) hook: 12 rows= 4”, 14 sts= 4”
7. Chains at beginning of rounds do not count in stitch count
8. Stitches in brackets are repeated by number of times following the bracket
9. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
10. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
