This Baltic Lace kit contains yarn and patterns to knit both the large rectangular Karukell shawl (pictured in gray), as well as the smaller Catkin design, which has both a stole and a scarf option (pictured in raspberry). Both shawls use traditional Estonian construction techniques and stitch patterns. Enjoy learning more about the history of Estonian lace, as you create a beautiful shawl of your own!
Kit includes three 50 gram hanks of Alpaca Cloud in Smoke Heather, two 50 gram hanks of Alpaca Cloud in Raspberry Heather and one 50 gram hank of Alpaca Cloud in Iris Heather along with a pattern for the shawl, scarf and stole. You will need US 6 (4 mm) straights or circular for scarf or stole, 32” or longer circular for shawl, spare circular for shawl edging, crochet hook, size C or D, yarn needle, stitch markers.
