the pattern comes in many sizes from newborn to 4 years. it has instructions how to make a pixie hat just like this one.

gauge - 18 stitches 10cm/4inches over stockinette stitch. MAKE SURE YOU MATCH THE GAUGE!

You will need a skein of Worsted yarn and knitting needles (to obtain the gauge). You can use either single pointed needles, or any circular needles (there is no knitting in the round!). also you will need a darning needle to weave in the yarn ends.

this is a very beginner friendly pattern - as long as you make sure you match the gauge (gauge is important!), you will do great!
