This is a stranded knit-in-the-round project for both the buffalo plaid hat and hand warmers. It’s a fun knit, not difficult and a good first stranded knitting project because it is always knit from the right side.

Fyberspates DK yarn was perfect and oh so soft, but use any DK weight, preferably a wool or wool blend yarn for its blocking capabilities.

With two skeins (one for the main color and one for the contrasting color), there will be enough yarn to make the complete set and a fairly large pom pom in the contrasting color if desired.
