This Basic Beret is quick and easy to make. Once you have mastered it, you can add in details such as color work or cables. It’s a great base for your own creativity. It also is lovely just as it is. It can be made with just one skein of Lion Brand Heartland, which has a wonderful shine and comes in a great variety of colors.

Size:
Adult Woman - 22” head

Yarn:
Lion Brand Heartland Worsted weight yarn

Needles:
US-8, 5.0mm dpn or long circulars for the magic loop
US-7, 4.5mm 16” circular needles for ribbing.

Gauge:
18 sts x 26 rows = 4” 10 cm in stockinette
