This delightful hat, with its beaded band of topsy turvy hearts, starts as a simple strip of garter stitch joined into a tube. The stitches along one edge of the tube are then picked up for the main body of the hat and worked circularly. The hat is finished with a beaded edge that is gathered to form a decorative crown.
