Brioche and garter stitch combine in this shawl to create vertical and horizontal stripes. The pattern includes instructions for the brioche stitches and is suitable for someone who has not knit brioche before. This is a great project for playing with color and texture. The sample shawl was knit with a speckle gradient yarn combined with a semi-solid.
Thank you to Boss Kitty for providing the lovely yarn! (Cat’s Cradle Solid: Cynthia’s Lunchbox and Cat’s Cradle Speckled Gradient: Stardust)
