Knit in eleven sections this scarf is a complicated, but fun project to take on! Every right side row (RS) begins with a decrease and ends with an increase, creating the slightly slanted look of this patchwork scarf. The three color panel sections are grafted together using the mattress stitch.

This is a project recommended for the brave beginners or experienced knitters. You definitely need to know your increases, decreases and cables for this scarf.

I have divided this pattern into 5 sections as there are 5 major parts that complete the eleven sections. Just follow along first, second, third, fourth, fifth, etc. and you should end up with a scarf that is approximately 90” long and 10” wide.

Inspired by the baseball scene in Twilight, this crazy scarf is not only fun to knit up, but a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. Hundreds of hours (seriously!) have been devoted to coming up with the basic idea, revising, revising, and revising again! Every change to the original design was definitely worth it as now this scarf is as close as we can get it without seeing the original face to face. I hope you enjoy this scarf as much as I do and I’m quite certain you’ll enjoy knitting it!

The pictures shown are just 4 variations of the scarf we have created. The first is the closest to the scarf Bella wears in Twilight. The second is a purple variation we found was commonly believed to be the colors, but is equally as beautiful as the magenta coloring! The third is a chocolate/pink variation and the third is a black/grey/magenta variation. Look soon for our green and brown Forks coloring, blues and browns, dark blues and light blues, and orange coloring!
