This cute top is designed to be a looser fit and with the hemline sitting above the hips. The top will measure approximately 2” larger around the standard bust measurements. You will have the option of either an elasticated or drawstring hem to allow the hem to fold under and give a tucked effect.

Written in US terms with a conversion chart included for UK terms. Photographs have been used throughout to help with clear instructions. A printer friendly version will also be included.

Sizes S,L,2XL and M,XL,3XL are separate patterns, you will receive both for all sizes.

I have used 100% Mercerised Cotton yarn in DK size for this pattern and a 4mm hook. I recommend using a yarn which will give a nice clear stitch definition for this project. This pattern is worked from the neck down in rounds.

You will need:
Approx. 400-1000g yarn depending on top size and chosen yarn
4mm hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Optional for hemming - a length of 5mm flat woven elastic for hem (28-44” depending on size), 2 small safety pins, a sewing needle and thread
(A drawstring option just using the main yarn will also be included, if you don’t have access to the above.)
