Bellota means “acorn” in Spanish, and this chic yet simple slouchy beret looks a little like a stylish acorn top. Worked from the top down with yarn-over increases that spiral out from a cute i-cord “stem,” you can knit it up quickly when the weather turns chilly, and it won’t flatten your hair when you wear it.

Note: If you are substituting yarn, look for something that will be nice and soft against your skin, with a bit of fuzziness and nice drape.
