Cardigan knitted in the round with steeks. Allover pattern
of double hearts with Pelican border at yoke and sleeve tops. Patterned edge up front fastened with clasps. Complete
instruction and charts given. Sweater to fit with positive ease.
Sizes are S-M-L- XL 39.5, 44, 48 and 52.5” circumference
Model was made with white Finullgarn and a very dark brown
(410) pattern yarn.
Pattern is based on a weaving design from Berit Hilmo in the
mid1800’s. Full story with meaning of all symbols in chart.
She was a most famous åklær weaver and wove about 500
coverlets!
