The snake can be made to any length (the one pictured is a shorty because it was for a small child) and finished snakes can be used for draft dodgers/blockers, toys, etc. The snake has a neat cabled back and stripes. This pattern is advance beginner and up - it uses single crochet, front post crochet and double crochet stitches. Great scrap burner - snake food not included in the pattern.
