The warm felted mittens are very lovely when it’s snowing and cold outside. These are a quick and fun knit!

Finished size:
To fit most adult and teens hands. For hand circumference
6 ¾“ - 7“ (17 - 18 cm) – Size S,
7 ½“ - 7.8“ (19 - 20 cm) – Size M,
8 ¼“ - 8 ¾“ (21 - 22 cm) – Size L;

Pattern instructions:
The mittens are worked from written instructions.
The pattern includes a photo tutorial for Thumb gusset and written instruction for felting.

Yarn: your yarn is suitable for felting with hand, 100% Wool or wool with alpaca, that is not labeled “superwash”. For your first felt mittens, you might want to start with a simple knitted square. Do knit you a sample in stockinette stitch, check your gauge and felt the sample by hand.
I don´t suggest pure alpaca wool for the pattern.

Gauge: the pattern gauge is recommended, not important. You knit loosely as usual for a normal knitting project that you finish big mittens as usual.
