errata: the hooded version is missing some words. It talks about overlapping stitches, and the bottom should continue saying: the one on the left will be marking the left side, and you will use both of the stitch markers for increasing in an a-line design.

This top is designed to fit for a number of years. I was inspired by my daughter’s Hanna Andersson clothes, she has worn some of the tops literally for several years. It starts out as a dress, and as she grows taller it becomes a tunic.

This top is such a great design for an advanced beginning knitter, and fun for an advanced knitter to use as a blank canvas. I love making simple designs so your imagination can run wild and turn your project into your very own.

This top is worked top down, and is seamless in a wool blend or cotton yarn. It has the option of a keyhole back opening for easier off and on, or a round neck, or a hood! It is a fun fast easy knit with adorable results.

If you can measure the one you are making the dress for, you will get better results. These sizes are only approximations for the ages. The dress pictured was a size 0-3 months, fitting a little 10 month old, and an 18 month old! You can size down if you would like.

You need to know these abbreviations:

• K Knit
• P Purl
• KFB Knit front and Back
• M1R Make one right
• M1L Make one left

Also if you want to do the hood you will need to know how to do a provisional cast on.

The possibilities are endless with different edgings and sleeves!
