A bag for clothespins shaped as a bird.
The pattern stitch for the body is from the emily shawl and the idea for the bird from my bird purse that I published earlier.

First the body is worked in two half-circles which are joined to a circular shape after a few rounds, then folded and sewn together.

I forgot to weigh the finished bag, so I can just guess how much yarn I used, but it wasn’t as much as I expected:-) Two to three skeins should be enough (yarn: 100% cotton, 115-135yards per 50g).
