The Bitty Spruce is worked top down in the round with worsted weight yarn. This seamless pullover features a raglan yoke, instructions for short and long sleeves, a textured front panel and a short row hem option.

Baby: 0-6mo(6-12mo,12-24mo)
Finished Measurements:
Chest: 18.2(19.5,20.8)”

Gauge: 18 sts x 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, blocked.
Materials:
Yarn and Yardage: Universal Yarn, Uptown Worsted (180 yds per skein, shown in Silver Grey) 2(2,2) skeins for long sleeves or equivalent yardage of worsted weight yarn.
Needles: Size US#6(4mm) and US#8(5mm) or size to obtain gauge on the largest needle:
-16” circulars in both sizes.
-a set of double-pointed needles in both sizes.
Notions: Tapestry needle, 6 stitch markers (one a different color for BOR, 3 for raglan shaping and 2 for front panel), scrap yarn, tape measure, row counter.
Techniques Used:
-Backwards loop cast on: wrap yarn around left thumb, from front to back, then put right needle under front yarn and pull up through the loop to make a stitch.
-Wrapless Short Rows.
