Every chilly season deserves a brand new hat. What’s keeping our ears warm this year is the Blackberry Hat. Wonderful texture and graphic colour comes together to make this unique head topper. The hat is sized to fit baby to adult sized heads. You may add on the optional ear flaps for the baby, toddler or child sizes. We used lovely and warm, single ply, merino wool from Manos del Uruguay for our version. The colours pack the perfect kind of punch! Classic black and white is contrasted with dramatic pink to good effect. The two colour stitching is fun and easy to do, especially with the aid of the tutorial included in this pattern. Finish your hat with a fat pompom that matches the bottom brim. The Blackberry Hat also looks striking knit all in one colour letting texture steal the show! Have fun with your version.

Level: Knitters must know how to knit in rounds and how to shape with decreases. If you wish to add on the optional ear flaps, picking up stitches is necessary too. The pattern includes a picture tutorial that describes how to knit the colour/texture pattern.

You may get all the yarn and the pattern together in a Knit Café Knit Kit HERE
