Blanket Fort is awesome! It’s a modern shawl-blanket using traditional washcloth shaping. A single set of increases down the middle creates a square; I know, super weird. The waves of lace cascade away from the starting point, ending with a big swath of garter to add an asymmetrical element to a classic square. Sometimes you just need to build a blanket fort! You can cuddle up and read a good book by flashlight. Try this out next time you’re having a bad day. Two chairs together with a few blankets draped over them will do the trick. Oh, and some pillows. There are actually articles for adults on how to build proper blanket forts. But I’m of the opinion that you’ll be an expert pretty much right away once you try.
