Here’s a light, fun to knit wrap that combines Inner Circles with free-range knitting to evoke the ebullient glee of spring’s first blooms. Use your favorite flower colors and create something festive and wearable. Try working the main wrap in colors most flattering to your skin and eyes and then pull out all the stop for the ‘blooms’.

This pattern includes row by row instructions as a guide for new free-range knitters. Still exact measurements are not given since this is not gage-dependent and length will vary by yarn type. I used primarily Handmaiden Double Sea mixed with tapes and ribbons. Consider this a stash-buster since small amounts of various yarns and colors work.

The wrap begins with the creation of a large half circle from which stitches are cast on either end to grow the wrap. Drop stitch, stockinette, simple lace stitches and garter stitches compose the piece with additional half circle ‘blooms’ added to the bottom edge.
