This pattern provides you with step-by-step instructions on how to make this cute fish amigurumi.

Meet Blub Blub the Amigurumi Fish! Blub Blub is the only child of his loving but frustrated parents. Most fish are able to have many offspring, but for some reason, only one of their eggs ended up producing a child. As a result, his parents lavished loving care and attention on Blub Blub. This started with wanting to name him, and this became their source of frustration, for no matter what they tried to name their child, when they mouthed the words underwater the only sound that came out was “Blub Blub.” The family traveled the oceans of the world, seeking a place where they could actually name their child, but in the end, they were stuck – the words sounded the same no matter what kind of water they were in, and they resigned themselves to their choice. Blub Blub himself has never minded. In fact, he feels lucky, for he has seen more of the world than any other fish he knew – he can even give many of the turtles he meets a run for their money! Even as a grown-up, Blub Blub continues to travel the oceans of the world with his parents – now looking for a mate to keep him company.
