You will need approx 400gms of baby soft double knit yarn or equivalent and 1xpair 5mm knitting needles.

A centre square is knitted first and the sides are added by picking up stitches from one side at a time. Nothing hard.

I feel this design is perfect for girls and boys just adjust the colour accordingly.
