Bluebells along the coast… with the crashing tide below… cannot get the image out of my head when staring at this beautiful top-down crescent-shaped shawl. Light and airy, this shawl will keep you cozy while enjoying a stroll along the beach.

Bluebell is geared towards knitters who appreciate an engaging lace project. Once you work your way through the stockinette section, you’ll have lots of lace to focus on. Graded for 3 sizes, you’ll find the perfect size to fit your style.

This top-down crescent-shaped shawl is a joy for knitters who love lacework. The shawl increases six stitches every two rows, for the first portion of the shawl, giving the wings that classic crescent-shawl curl. The second portion of the shawl will increase 4 stitches every 2 rows, giving the shawl its depth.

Worked flat, Bluebell contains written directions and charts. A handy-dandy progress tracker is included to help you with your row and stitch counts.

This shawl pattern shines well with solid, semi-solid, or lightly speckled yarns. Picking an appropriate yarn for this project will ensure you don’t have a yarn that distracts from the lovely lacework you’ll create.
