This fabulous hat was used in a workshop at my shop and it was a big success. It looks great in self-striping, self-patterning, solid and variegated colorways! You will be knitting with sock (fingering weight) yarn using size US 1 and US 2 knitting needles. It’s best to have experience knitting in the round. You will get detailed directions for the entrelac portion as well as the rest of the pattern. I love knitting the entrelac technique. It’s amazing what you can do with it! The top of the beret has tiny cables and great texture, then goes into the entrelac with goes down to the ribbing.

I am available for knitting help via e-mail. This is not a pattern for the beginner knitter.
