Bob the blue-footed booby bird loves strutting along the beach and showing off his bright blue feet!

The instructions are written in US crochet terms, with step by step photos detailing how to make the pieces and finish the toy. The body is worked from the top, with smaller details sewn on. To get the marled yarn effect the body is made with two strands of yarn held together - a DK weight cotton and a fingering/4-ply weight alpaca yarn. The other details are made in DK weight cotton.

The finished bird made in similar yarns and hooks will stand around 28cm/11in tall.
