Bob the Dog is a sweet knitted toy named after everyone’s favorite Boston Terrier. He originated as a vintage Patons pattern from the 1940s, which I have lovingly updated for the modern knitter. The updated pattern includes easy-to-understand line-by-line knitting instructions, as well as detailed instructions on assembly and embroidery. It’s a speedy enough knit that you can be snuggling your very own Ravelry mascot in no time.

Bob requires less than 300 yards of any black worsted-weight yarn and 200 yards of white. Have DK yarn instead? (or bulky?) No problem - just follow the simple instructions for a smaller (or larger) dog.
