I have tested a lot of bootie patterns but none of them was optimal.
Once I didn’t like the shape, then there were too much yarn ends to weave in, next time the size never came out right and so on.

So I create my own pattern for a worsted/10 ply yarn that is soft and smooth. The mix of cotton and merino is perfect for this accessory and I think the baby will like it more than scratchy sock yarn which is used in several patterns.

The neighbor’s little son tested my booties and they stayed on his feet without ribbons even when he was kicking.

The pattern includes two sizes (aprox. 3-6 or 6-9 month) and two versions (with or without ribbon eyes).
