The Boreal set, named for the coniferous forests of the northern hemisphere, uses a simple yet stunning colourwork motif to transition from one color to the other and back again. Reverse the colors between the hat and mittens for a gorgeous effect.

Hat and mittens are worked in the round from the bottom up.

Size and measurements
Hat with a head circumference of approximately 40 (45, 50) cm 15.75 (17.75 (19.75)”. Height results in 23 cm (9”) when knit as given in the pattern, adjustable.
Mittens: Size S, M and L with a hand circumference of approximately 15 (17.5, 20) cm 6 (7, 7.75)”. Hand length is adjustable.

2 skeins of worsted weight yarn with a yardage of approximately 200 m (220 yds) per 100 g in contrasting colours
