Knitted in one piece from the bottom up with button-band and armhole trims being knitted on after the waist-coat is finished.

Sample is worked in Natural Shetland DK (100% wool; 50 g / 135 yd / 124 m) by Woodpark Rare Breeds Yarns.
  • Finished Measurements – 32 (33 ½, 35, 36 ½, 38, 39 ½) 41 ¼, 42 ¾, 44 ¼, 45 ¾, 47 ¼, 48 ¾ in / 80 (84, 87.5, 91.5, 95.5, 99) 103, 107, 110.5, 114.5, 118, 122 cm finished chest circumference. Designed to be worn with minimal positive ease.
  • Gauge – 21 sts and 32 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in Stocking stitch
  • Needles and Notions – Size 4 mm (US 6) circular needle, 24 in / 60 cm or longer and a set of double pointed needles of the same size. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Eight ½ in / 13 mm buttons, 2 stitch markers and tapestry needle.
