This is a beautiful pattern for either one colored yarn or yarns with longer color changeovers. You can use only one yarn for the whole sock, which will also give a nice structure due to the knit/purl changes or use multiple yarns to create a deeper effect.

If you choose to work with just one color than all you need to know is knit and purl for the pattern, as well as short row work and simple decreases for the boomerang heel and toe.

When working with multiple strands make sure not to pull the carried-along strand too fast so that the pattern doesn’t get stretched.

For the cuff I used a triple cuff, which also gives a nice effect when made in different colors.

Pictures and written instructions are given.
