Ornaghi Filati Liza
(100% mercerized cotton; 245 yd 225 m/50 g; CYCA #1):
#001 white, 1 ball

Needles:
Size 1 (2.25 mm): set of 5 double pointed (dpn)
Size A (2 mm) steel crochet hook

Other materials:
9 size 4 mm beads for purse edging and tie
2 size 6 mm beads for cinching tie

Includes instructions for Judy’s Magic Cast-On (invented by Judy Becker as a CO for toe-up socks).

Ties are created from crocheted chain.

Notes from designer, Laura Rintala:
Purse is worked from center of the bottom out, then worked even in rounds to upper edge. The leaf edging is worked back and forth in rows along the upper edge, attaching as you go.
