• An asymmetrical, multi-directional shawl, whose diverging & intersecting lines call to mind this meandering street of downtown Rochester.
• Worked with a pair of luscious yarns in complementary colors, this piece is fun and fast to work. The lower edging is worked in a long strip first, then stitches are picked up, & the shawl is worked upward, repeating the cable motif from the border, & bound off as you progress. Buttonhole openings are incorporated into the shawl, making it easy to secure & wear in a variety of ways.
Instructions are included for both yarn weights, as well as guidelines to further modify the size of this shawlette. Instructions are both charted & written

gauge for worsted weight - 18sts/4”
gauge for dk weight - 20 sts/4”

Thank you so much, Cheri S., for testing this design and for your excellent suggestions!!
