PATTERN NOTES
Garter stitch can be more interesting than you think! By alternating knit and purl versions of garter stitch and using two colors, it is fascinating to watch the pattern develop. And with a 1-row pattern repeat, this project is excellent mindless knitting and also a great beginner project.

Colors are changed every other row. Carry the unused strand up the side of the work.

The stitch pattern in this scarf will look familiar to anyone who owns or has read a copy of the brilliant Sequence Knitting book by Cecelia Campochiaro. If you don’t own this book yet, run out and buy it!
