This pattern includes instructions for both gauge yarns and math to figure ANY size!

KNIT TO SELL! No “cottage license” needed!

Very versatile and detailed!

Includes approximate yardage for ALL areas of your Budgie Bloomers, so that you can have a good idea of how much yarn you’ll need no matter how many colors or the style of your bloomers!!

I’ve also included a few pages of my Free Knitting Graph Paper (more about them in paragraph 3) and an explanation of how I design duplicate stitch patterns!

The pattern details each section (with really clear photos also!) in explaining the most invisible short rows ever, how to knit a crotch gusset, and how to keep stripes looking nice and straight when knitting “in the round”!

There are also lots of extras including instructions on knitting a HIP SKIRTY instead of a full skirty and knitting PLEATED RUFFLES instead of the original simple and extra ruffly ruffles!

This is a VERY flexible pattern! Create a super cute pair of Budgie Bloomers, or you can adapt the pattern very easily to longies, shorties, capris…whatever you desire!

Along with “standard sizing” of the sizes listed above, the pattern is detailed in explaining how to figure out specific sizes for any child’s measurements :)

Anyone interested in adding duplicate stitch designs to your knits, I have some great FREE KNITTING GRAPH PAPER designs you can use and print (and they mimic a knit stitch instead of being just a graph square or rectangle!!) and you can design them in a photo editor!!!

Please add any pants that you knit from my pattern to your Instagram (make sure to follow me: TheKnittingManiac) and use hashtags #budgiebloomers and #theknittingmaniac!

Thank you!!! :) Bridget
