Notes: Bulu is hand dyed using natural plant materials. As a result, there are differences from skein to skein within the same dye lot, as well as within each skein, and a color blocking effect is likely to result while knitting. You may wish to work by alternating rows with another skein while knitting to minimize the effect.

Stitches for the Snake Cable that is worked at the sides of the body are added gradually until reaching the underarm. Work the stitches into the pattern as the number of stitches increases, twisting first 1 over 1, then 2 over 2, and finally 3 over 3.

Length measurements for the body are taken from the lowest point of the cast on edge.
