A beanie in three sizes featuring a flower pattern with bumble bees flying through. The beanie is knitted in the round, and the bumble bees are knitted separately and sewn onto the hat. Make one bumble bee, or as many as you want for your beanie. The only sewing is to attach the bumble bees to the hat.

Gauge is 28 sts/4” (10 cm) using fingering weight yarn. Row gauge is not important. Use a contrasting color for the band or not, as you prefer. You may use any yarn, but the yarn used in the hat pictured (size 21”) is
MC: (main color) 32g/ 127 yds Knit Picks Chroma fingering 396yds/100g
CC: (contrast color for band) 5g/ 20 yds Knit Picks Chroma fingering ‘Sandpiper’ (optional second color)

For the bumble bees: 1.5g/ 6 yds each bee in black and yellow. Orange and white are optional
Bumble Bee wings use 2 yds LionBrand or Habu 25% stainless steel yarn held together with Sulky glittery sewing thread. Alternatively you can use crochet cotton and starch the wings later.
