This is a quick and relatively easy project for either an intermediate beginner or experienced knitter and would be great for a gift or something pretty to make for yourself using that special yarn you bought somewhere! The pattern includes lace and it can be made with or without beads, depending if you want that little extra bling or not. This cowl design comes in two lengths, but it can be easily adjusted to make it longer (or shorter) in circumference and in the width or height.

The basic design begins with either a garter stitch border or a picot border, continues with the lace portion (which is both fully written out and charted for whichever method you prefer), and then ends with a matching garter stitch or picot border.

Gauge:
24 stitches and 33 rows per 4 inches in stockinette the round (although gauge is not terribly important for this pattern)

Finished dimensions:
Roughly 7 inches high and 30 (60) inches around (it also has a lot of stretch to it).

The pattern is both fully charted and fully written out.
