Material:
Yarn weight: Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi)
e.g. Catania Solids by Schachenmayr SMC
Yardage: 136 yards (124 meters)
Unit weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
Gauge: 26.0 sts = 4 inches

Colors: you will need quite small amount of these colors: 222 light pink, 114 hot pink, 105 beige, 254 grey-brown, 110 black.
Hook: 3 mm

Other material: needle with blunt tip, tiny buttons average 6 mm, common sewing threads, one button average 1,5 cm (0,6 inches)

Measurement of finished butterfly : height 11,5 cm ( 4,5 inches) without feelers x width 12 cm (4,7 inches). Please remember, that if you will use another material, the size of finished creation will be different.

Level: beginner (but basic skills of crocheting are needed)
