This is a perfect baby shower gift, so fast and easy to make! Construction is simple, yet unique: a long strip is sewn together to form a circle and stitches are picked up from one side of the strip and knitted in the round to form the hat. For the booties, make a similar strip and pick up stitches, but work back and forth, then seam up the back.

I held 2 strands of a super-soft, fingering weight milk yarn, Kollage’s Creamy to get achieve worsted weight. You can use this project as a stash-buster, too; just make sure to match gauge both for stitches and rows and divide yardage in half to use one strand of worsted weight. Follow the designer tips at the bottom of the pattern to keep things neat and tidy.
