With a little lace and cables, work this scarf up in your favorite soft yarn. It has an “I-cord” on both sides for a smooth, even edge. Not only is it fun to knit, it is beautiful in the end! The finished scarf measures about 6” x 40” (6” x 60”) and is a soft, elegant wear.

The sample shown is made out of The Fibre Company’s sport weight “Canopy Sport.” The yarn is made of 50% Baby Alpaca / 30% Merino / 20% Bamboo and has 200 yards in every 50 gram skein. To complete this scarf to the finished size you will need approximately 260 (390) yards (2 skeins) of this super soft yarn.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Needles: The needles used with this yarn are US 6 (4.0mm) straights, to obtain a gauge of 28 stitches over 4 inches.

Notions: Cable Needle
