These days I want quick gratification. Something to calm my nerves and soothe my spirit.

I designed this shawl using dk weight wool in a light color so the pattern shows easily. I use turns, but NO WRAPS! That’s right, no wraps. The turning is done in equal intervals in the stockinette section above the deep lace edging and before the top lace insertion. So, easy peasy.

It works up quickly on size US 9/5.5mm circular needles. Again, fast and easy peasy.

I have written out the charted rows for you, in case working from a chart stresses you out. And for those like me that love charts, there is also the chart! It’s a good way to use some of that dk stash you have hanging around.

Again, I wish you all good health in this stressful time. Stay safe.
