I love making hats using chunky yarn. I can’t believe how quick this hat is to make. You start construction at the top. It’s a top down hat! You can knock out several in one evening.

If you use Hometown this is perfect for Chemo patients. For a comforting gesture, add a treasured vintage brooch that has family ties on the side of the hat.

Of course buttons and fur balls make this hat very trendy. I hate getting fur everywhere when I make them, so I have added a photo tutorial on how to easily make your own, and how to keep the shedding of fur to a minimum.
