This pattern is 13 pages long and includes loads of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms.

You will need:

Yarn of your choice - I used Patons Smoothie DK Yarn (this is quite a thick DK yarn so it is equivalent to aran or light worsted weight in other brands). My completed purse measures 14cm wide by 11.5cm tall ( measuring to the bottom of the wheel).
Whatever yarn you choose, you will need to use the same weight yarn throughout your project.

You will need the following colours:

Inner Purse Layer - Yellow.

Caravan Wheel - Black & dark grey.

Caravan Body - Cream plus one other colour of your choice (for the lower half of the caravan).

Caravan Door & Trim - One colour of your choice.

Seagull Zip Pull - Cream, light grey & yellow.

Bunting & Curtain Details - Light grey plus two colours of your choice for the bunting & curtains (You can use yarn or embroidery thread for this).

You will also need:

A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.

A small amount of toy stuffing for the seagull.

Black finer yarn or embroidery thread for adding the seagull’s eyes.

A zip - I used a 5” / 12.5cm zip but I will show you how to shorten a longer zip to the perfect length for your purse. It’s easier to shorten zips with plastic teeth.

Some strong thread for attaching your seagull to the zip, for shortening your zip if necessary & for sewing the zip into the purse.

Other tools you will need are a needle, some scissors, some pins and some stitch markers.
