What am I missing?
Carom
Carom ‘ker-em verb
- to collide and rebound, to ricochet
I was having a rather challenging couple of weeks. I was in the end stages of a giant and astonishingly fiddly project. I needed something soothing and restorative to help me hang on to what remained of my sanity and good humor. The first of these hats was the answer. Unfortunately, I finished the hat before I finished the project. The only solution was to immediately cast on a second slightly modified version of the same hat (this one a bit less lacy and with a slightly smaller scale pattern). This is perfect therapy knitting – easy, impressive looking, and quickly done. With luck, it will keep you sane (and warm) too.
The patterns are written in 3 sizes. The final size depends on your gauge and is nearly endlessly adjustable. Hat sizes range from 12.75 to 26 inches.
The pattern includes instructions for both hats.
