This is a wonderful pattern with so much room for variation. It is initially knit with a bulky yarn, but can be adjusted to fit any weight.

It is knit in a chain of leaves that are joined together in a circle as you knit. To adjust the size/yarn, simply add more or fewer leaves and more of fewer rounds of them.

There is no knitting in the round, and no seaming, so this is a good stepping stone for beginner knitters into a new technique.
