What am I missing?
Cassis
I wanted a long, loose and open cardigan with a reversible collar that would fold back over the shoulders if pinned shut, and fall loose and elegant if left open.
The lines of the collar bring the attention inwards and keep the effect long and lean. Lace panels down either side in front and an additional lace panel down the middle of the back also keep things flattering.
It’s knit top down, so it can be customized to the height or width you prefer, and although I wanted short sleeves, you can do as you please there too. As for wear, it’s very versatile. You can wear it open, pin it closed anywhere along the ribbed bands, or you can belt it shut.
The simple lace looks great in a subtly vareigated yarn like this one. I love it in the worsted merino, as the soft spongy quality of the yarn is perfect for the collar.
Yardage per size:
32(34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48,50)

Errata Pattern has been updated, but if you downloaded your early version, you may still see the following:
-
Size 38- top of page 2, WS & RS Setup Rows; you do NOT have 0 sts between the marker and the lace patterns on the fronts. You have 3.
-
Bottom of page 2 - work lace repeat (the repeat directions are ABOVE on the page), not below.
