This cat pattern is worked from the top of the head down, with the head and body in one piece. Front legs, back feet and tail are worked seperately and sewn on. When using worsted weight yarn, completed size is approx 6-6.5”. With Caron Simply Soft (a worsted weight but thinner than most somehow), finished size is 5.5”. Eye size is recommended at 4mm-8mm, depending on personal preference and availability of eye sizes in your collection/local shop.

Currently, the pattern is written for a cat in a single color (such as the black cat pictured), with notes available as a second pdf document when you buy the pattern. Those notes describe how to add a second color so you can create the 2-colored cats pictured.
