The complementary Cable and Lace stitch patterns in this cuddly little blanket echo the soft whispers of tranquil brooks and leaves murmuring to the wind ~ Nature lulling a wee one to sleep.

This baby blanket incorporates a beautiful combination of a Double Moss Stitch border surrounding the Rope Ladder pattern which in turn surrounds the central Purl Band Cable panel.

Instructions are included for both knitters who like minimal instructions and those who prefer line-by-line instructions.

All pattern sequences are written out and charted. A schematic is included.

Yarn Note - Aug 2009: The Soy Natural Blends yarn has been discontinued by Bernat; for substitutions look for an easy-care, medium (4) weight yarn with a smooth surface and in a single colour to allow the patterns and cables to shine! Some suggestions have been added to the yarn list above.
