Even though I’ve never been there I love New York City. The people, the skyscrapers and architecture, the food, the sounds and smells are all appealing to me. Not to mention the appeal of Central Park, New York City. I can feel the leaves blowing around my feet on a crisp fall day as I stroll through the most filmed public park in the world.

Central Park was the first public landscaped park in all of the United States! The Park takes up roughly 843 acres of land, which is roughly 16 billion New York apartments. The Park is larger than the principality of Monaco!

Over 9,000 wooden benches dot the massive park. One of these days you will find me sitting on one of those benches, knitting these delightful socks. Please stop by and knit with me. Central Park Walking Socks are knit cuff to toe with an easy, meandering pattern.
