Create stunning cables using stockinette and moss stitches. I’m enjoying discovering cables and stitch patterns that are unique and new to me. Alongside these cables are sections of slipped stitches that create a very interesting textured look

Pattern includes written instructions for the faux brioche ribbing, body, and decreases, and a chart for the boy of the hat.

I’ve used Malabrigo Rios because of its excellent stitch definition, and I just love wearing it. I’ve used the Valentina colorway here - such a soft pink. Any yarn that will block well to open up the cables and is plied should work great!

Note - the measurement from the bottom of one ear, around the top of my head to the bottom of the other is16”. If your measurement is larger you can increase the ribbing section of your hat. The ribbing is reversible and can always be folded up if needed.
